OH HEY LJ's working enough that I can actually make a post! Sort of. Imagine that.

The DDoS has really been working my nerves, though. Especially with that Russian rumor going around which, people, it's NOT. lj_maintenance, it's a good thing to read.


Anyway, things have been alright here. Enjoying a couple days off by copious amounts of Dynasty Warriors 5, and some IMs with Pup and Onyx. Still on slowatus in my LJ RP games but, enh, what're you gonna do.


I'm kind of really amused at how much I got my latest Gaia avatar to look like Jingles/something Jingles would wear.

1) Where do you see yourself in five years?
-That's the thing, I just don't really know right now. Let some other things settle into place, and we'll see.

2) What is one word that you describe yourself with?
-Conflicted.

3) Who is your biggest influence in drawing?
-It may sound a little geeky, but my biggest influences tend to be mangaka. Bisco Hatori, Ryo Takamisaki, Hitoshi Ariga, the assorted mangaka in the PW manga (particularly Yuko Yai), and Hiromu Arakawa are but a few.

4) What is one genre that you don't like in anime/manga?
-Hmm, hard to say. Even if there's one or two genres I don't tend to like (such as the really WHACKED OUT CRAZY ones, or lowbrow humor) there's series within them that I tend to love (looking at you FLCL, for the WHACKED OUT CRAZY example XD ). So I don't think there's truly any one I don't like. XD

5) What book are you currently reading right now?
-Right now, I'm reading an abridged version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms.


Oh yeah, and my commission info and prices changed.


Starting to collect Purple and Guardian dragons. Hell, I've already got a huge number of the former, so why not XD

What Russian rumor? The one about it being directed toward a political blog in an attempt to shut it down?

Yeah, I've heard that, and I also heard that it was a bunch of Russian extremists trying to bust the servers.

I haven't heard the second one, but admittedly I did hear the first one (and think it was true thanks to LJ saying the DDoS attacks were aimed at one journal in an attempt to shut it down ffft).

Well, last I heard the DDoS was coming from a bunch of trojan-infested computers overloading the servers. LJ even posted a Google Map of the IPs to blame, said if people found themselves they should look into getting their computers checked out XD

Yeah, I remember that XD I don't know how computers work so I thought it was... the Russian dudes somehow infecting those computers with DDoS stuff through Livejournal servers in an attempt to shut down that one journal.
