OH HEY LJ's working enough that I can actually make a post! Sort of. Imagine that.

The DDoS has really been working my nerves, though. Especially with that Russian rumor going around which, people, it's NOT. lj_maintenance, it's a good thing to read.


Anyway, things have been alright here. Enjoying a couple days off by copious amounts of Dynasty Warriors 5, and some IMs with Pup and Onyx. Still on slowatus in my LJ RP games but, enh, what're you gonna do.


I'm kind of really amused at how much I got my latest Gaia avatar to look like Jingles/something Jingles would wear.

Now, since I know it doesn't like to read with my computer (since my computer is stupid, we know this) I have to put back codes by hand. I really, really should know better than to restart something when it's saving. Fuck.


At least my day was moderately better. Even if issues in RL are harshing my mellow (I always wanted to say that) I did find one of my favorite books, and for cheap too.


Oh! I'm gonna be getting a bird soon~ A parakeet/budgie/whatever you wanna call them, to be specific. Probably going to get a white one from Petsmart, although I may also go with blue. Dunno. But yeah, bird~

The Oscars last night was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Seriously, they were so weird. Kirk Douglas wtf XDXD My favorite win of the night? Honestly, Natalie Portman for her performance in Black Swan. Because she is awesome and that was an AWESOME movie.

Um, let's see here, updates updates. Oh! I finally found TWEWY, only a couple years behind the times. Oh well. I also bought a copy of FFX on a whim because hey, it was really cheap XD And Soul Calibur III for the same reason but shh, don't tell anyone.


I had a weird dream the other night where I got a strange bruise all along the underside of my left arm. I mean, those HUGE bruises you see people get when they decide to skateboard down railings and eat it? Like that. It was freaky o_O Still not as bad as a skin disease one I had once though, that thing haunts me still. *shudders*


Battling with the computer yet again, but I think I've got it this time. Now I just have to find somewhere where I can get a new computer on a payment plan, either that or hope this one holds up long enough for me to save what's left of my tax refund on top of my paychecks and such.

I know I just updated. But I was reading backwards in my LJ trying to find something, and I came across this meme. Since my writing has taken a turn for the better lately (which ALWAYS happens when I'm reading fiction at the same time, as opposed to coming at the task cold), I decided to do it again with some paragraphs from one of the "Nobody will see it" fics I mentioned about half an hour ago.

Won the Earth Badge in SoulSilver today! First time I've done that, despite my myriad files XD Have I ever mentioned I love Perish Song? *snickers* Made that last Gyarados so much easier to fight. Now the only question is, what now? I'm not sure I want to train for Red. I'm not one of those people that easily maxes out their clocks, amassing countless hours on a single file. So knowing me, I'm going to follow through on my idea of breeding for my next team and going from there.

1. I wish I could be entirely truthful with you. I tell you that I am, but honestly? I'm not. There's things I hold back, things I gloss over to keep on a happy face. But there's things in our shared past I haven't been able to work myself past, even though it's a non-issue now. And no, it's probably not what you think. Either way it's something stupid, so I'll likely never talk about it anyway.
2. I want you and him to be happy together someday. I really, really do.
3. I look up to you. You're better at this sort of thing than I could ever be, even though you say I'm the good one. I just wish I could work up the nerve to IM you again, because I think we could be friends. I'm just too nervous.
4. I wish it could be like it used to be, between us. We used to talk all the time, but then we just drifted apart. No, we're still close. We just don't seem to be at the same place at the same time anymore. But I miss our chats.
