Okay, I've had it with my connection. Not the dial-up itself, not at heart-- I've had it long enough that I know how to make it do what I want. But the provider?? I've had it up to HERE with its stupid program, its self-updating that only makes it worse, and its incessant need to shut me off either when I haven't shown any "activity" online or after a period of 8 hours, neither of which I can turn off.

I swear it. I don't care what I have to do but this year? This year is the year WE. DROP. DIAL-UP!
