♪ It's like riding on the wind, and it never goes away

Just as an update, my dad came home a few days ago. He's fine, but can't really get around much due to the injury in his knee. Between helping to take care of him, some trying shifts at work, and just general wear and tear I feel like I've been walking for miles and miles, and only get a quick breather between in town before walking on. Miles to Go Before I Sleep and all that, I guess.

Either way, not looking forward to the shift today, though I'm glad I had the foresight yesterday to stock up on energy shot drinks (re: 4 hours of sleep). Looking forward to day off tomorrow though, and Kung Fu Panda 2 on Wednesday. With a friend no less, at this combination theater/restaurant that sounds really awesome. Definitely can't wait.

On the RP side, been having some cool threads lately, with Bass (one at dear_mun and another at ink_city). Also bought him a paid and 15 new icons, 13 of which are technically kudos to rockman_dot_exe and a download of the Forte/Serenade manga chapter therein. Man I wish that was in English, although at least REO had a summary. Still have to finish Izzy apps to two games though, buh.

Um. Yeah, that's about it. Just killing time right now until I have to leave for work at 9:15. Hopefully I'll actually be on AIM tonight, in case any of the people I've been missing sees this entry before then.

HEY GUYS WHAT'S UP HAVEN'T UPDATED IN A WHILE


Let's see. RL has been pretty much the same-- go to work, hang out at home, die in the humid heat of a premature North Carolina summer, you know the same ol' same ol'. I did pick up the Sonic Mega Collection Plus a while back, and even after quite a bit of practice in the games, I'm happy to report my video game suckage extends to Sonic. XD


Ordered the EXE Official Complete Works, finally. I'm already bouncy for it to get here too; hopefully it'll be here early next week. And I've also been rereading the manga. Now if only I could find somewhere that's still up that has Battle Story scanslations. I never DID finish that one on Tanjou.


RP has been kinda slow lately; I've dropped down to one person (blackshadowsins) over at Ink City, and I'm still on hiatus at DDD; not to mention when I come BACK from hiatus I'm going to drop half my cast (which is only four, but whatever). Speaking of RP though, still hooked in Achaea. Four characters so far, one permanent. If you like MUDs check it out, this thing is addicting XD (And in the event someone reading this is already in Achaea, or going to be, my characters' names are Derxanei, Omineth, Deirenari, and Leganoss.)


In slightly dimmer news, I've decided to stop uploading to my DA account for a while. Mostly due to drawing not being fun anymore since I was concentrating too much on how many comments or faves they got (which was a dismal number in the first place) instead of doing it for the fun of it. So I'm still drawing, BUT. I might actually put some in my LJ here, since it's such a smaller crowd and I know they're all friends XD So, we'll see.


YEAH. I think that's all I got. Hopefully I can keep updating this regularly again.

While I've (almost) always played the X to... well, anybody's Zero (but particularly Pup's, we've been doing X and Zero for years) I've often felt I'm more like Zero personality-wise, not quite the badass quotient though, and the ratio of X to Zero in my icons ought to show I like Z just a biiiit more. Since I usually play characters that are closer to me in personality or my favorites from Whatever Canon, I just find it funny this is one of those times it turned out different.


I want Pokemon White. And on the subject of video games, the New Game+ of TWEWY needs to give you Scarletite after cutscenes like it did the first time around. Just sayin'. >\


I also want the EXE Complete Works. Man. ;~;

After too many months of waiting (seriously, something like five??) the second volume of the ZX manga I ordered arrived. Three days early. I'm hoping Megamix 2 comes tomorrow because man that'd be awesomesauce.

On top of that, I have York mint pieces (they're like Reese's pieces but not). And Bass is back at DDD. And Giro got a REAL canon move even if it's a sad one (BUT IT GETS BETTER kinda). And I found a place to download the soundtrack to Command Mission cuz I'm a geek like that. Not to mention some boss ideas for an RP-related fic, AND GETTING A COMMISSION FINALLY, and adding a new Sector 5 Marauder and yeah.

Today rules. Especially compared to lately.


Coherence later, CB's tired and going to sleep and dream of ways to murderlize Styx (but not really) for igniting the Digimon nerd in me again.

I think I'm going to create an EXE/Ryuusei dressing room, open to AUs, OCs, duplicates, what have you. I know I've seen a few journals from both canons on dear_mun, so it'd have players at least XD

...I just need to think of what to call it, and what sort of setting to give it.

AFTER FOUR MONTHS OF WAITING IT FINALLY CAME.

Oh man, I've already read it once. Now it's going to be broken down into the icon fodder that was 40% of the reason I bought it for. XDD

I can redo so many of awakeningadvent's icons now, even including the ones I did from manga images already provided to me. Especially since some of those scans were... not great quality XD; The only issue is I don't know if I'm going to color them again because MAN that is a pain in the ass. But aaaaahhh there's so many good Model Z shots, and he has a couple REALLY good, REALLY sweet smiles in there and just. GIRO GETS ICONS. YAY.

A-also now that I know where the necklace Vent wears in the manga comes from, I'm tempted to add that in somehow at DDD, despite the fact I've never mentioned it before |D;; Damn you Shin Ogino for giving me ideas I can do NOTHING with. Damn you >\ xDD

I have just about HAD IT with waiting for this damn manga. First the estimated date was the end of March. Then in April. Then the middle of May. Then the beginning of May. And now THIS. I don't know if it's Udon or Amazon's problem or what, but it's pissing me the FUCK off.

Does anyone on my f-list happen to know where to get images of the manga? I don't care if it's translated since I'll be getting the English version eventually anyway, I just want to redo awakeningadvent's icons. Any help will be appreciated ~_~
ETA: Changing the request to does anyone know where to get the fourth part of the first volume? That's the X vs Z fight.

I tell you what, if the second volume of Megamix (so far projected to come in the middle of May) is delayed too, I'm going to have to cut a bitch.
