Shoot, I think I'm getting sick. Like, "I ate something bad" sick. My eating habits have been... less than stellar these past couple of days, so I'm not surprised. I only hope it was the take-out I have a problematic history with and not the (home-cooked) burger that may have been a little undercooked >_> (Stupid stupid CB, I know.) ...Then again if it was the latter, I think I'd have more problems than what I term my "greasy headaches" (aka the way my head feels after I eat something with too much grease in it) by now. And I feel all the better in the worry department for typing that.


ANYWAY. I've got two apps whose results are pending (one at DDD and one at I_C) and I'm going crazy XD I'm especially worried about the DDD one, though if the character gets in I plan on making it stick this time.

1. I've technically been drawing since before kindergarten. However, my current style didn't come into being until about 1999-2000, when I made a concentrated effort to change it.
2. MY NAME IS A DISEEEEAAAASE. Sort of XD My first name is the type of yeast that pops up in infections, and my last name is attached to a corrosive disorder of the esophagus.
3. I've been online since 1999. My DA has been active since 2003, and my LJ has been active since 2004. My first ever username? "IzzyIzumiDigiD" used to sign in to AOL 3.0.
4. "CBIzumi" has also been in use as an alias of mine since 1999. Anyone have a guess to which Digimon character is my favorite? There's only one main site I use it on though, and that's my DA. It was a username once, became a character, then was used when I signed up there. I've never used it for AIM, and it was a brief e-mail for a while before I used something else. ChocolatePhantom, Roll Soul no kidding and GuardianGiro are more common usernames of mine.
5. My original LJ username was "kuna_emie". "Kuna" was off a username I had on a forum for a brief time, and "Emie" (pronounced like Emmy) was the name of an old Code Lyoko OC I'd already stopped using by then. I got a name change to "roll_soul" a year ago, after my username at REO (which also has more meaning behind that, but that's another meme).
6. Speaking of REO, that's my homepage. Lot of good memories there.
7. Ever since I was brought home from the hospital, there hasn't been a single day of my life where I've been without cat. From Munchie to Benny to Smokie, I've always had one or more cats there, only to change when Smokie finally goes (but likely not for long).
8. I've got an unusual memory. I don't know if you'd call it a good one or not, but I have a weird tendency to remember conversations, things I've typed, and especially pictures from YEARS ago.
9. I can't drive.

Ohgod I think I just went back some 5-6 pages in my f-list (and considering I read 35 entries at a time) to catch up. That's the last time I let it build up without reading like that.


I want to participate in NaNo this year, except I have absolutely no ideas. None. Zip. Nada. I don't even have any sort of start for the whole "JUST START WRITING AND GO, CB" kinda thing. I think I'll just unofficially participate, and use November's writing vibes to finish up a bunch of smaller fics.


Cooking some ribs right now. They've only been in the oven 45 minutes (and have a couple more hours to go) but man I can already smell them. *deep inhale* It's the sauce all over them, but it's making me so freaking hungry XD Also, I found a bread recipe online that I wanna try.

I have a half hour to kill before work, so I thought I'd do an LJ entry.


First of all, I am sick and tired of the manga I ordered getting delayed >\ The latest release date for the first volume, at least on Amazon, is May 4th. I have NO idea if that's the real one or not because A) I heard at DA that it was delayed again and B) I haven't had any "Your order's been shipped!" notices from Amazon. I tell you what, I'd better get this stupid sucker soon, because this back-and-forth of the dates is pissing me off.


In other, better news yesterday we went to the local farmer's market. Got fresh green beans, spinach, and broccoli. I may just cook it all later on this evening. I also got a baking-centered cookbook at B&N (and a book of wizard short stories >.> ) and some of them in it look really awesome. I can't wait to try some recipes XD


For RP stuff, I reserved Mega over at Capriccio, and I came off my hiatus at DDD. Unfortunately, any other games I'm in I'm pretty much idling out of ~_~ Sigh.

Oh! Netto bro, I think I may try to bring either my Lan or my Trigger to paradisa. What do you think? Also tell me it's a bad idea to play someone from a game I've never gotten beyond the intro stages in XD (That is, I have a persistent Leviathan muse from MMZ, which I legendarily suck at.)


EXE mood theme status: A-D is complete, as is about half of E. At this rate I should have it done in a few days.

Still snowy and slushy over here. Have a few photographs I've uploaded, I'll probably dump the links all in one entry tomorrow XD Including the pics I took of the little mini-snowmen I made.


I have Apollo Justice~ FINALLY, courtesy of Pup. I also have Time Hollow (which I can't WAIT to start) and DQ5. My DS is going to be busy for a good while xDD


My Megaman book still isn't here yet, but it's good. It's coming from the UK and has an estimated delivery period of 7-10 days, so I can't even BEGIN to expect it until Thursday XD (Although because I'm an optimistic fool, I'm hoping I'll get reeeeaaaallllyyyy lucky and it'll show up tomorrow. >> )


Can't wait for Puppy Bowl |D; XD Also the episode of Iron Chef America where Duff Goldman competes.


Not much else to report really. So I'll just end it here and go back to playing AJ xDD Watch, I'll get a muse for Apollo before the month is out.

Going to thrift stores and pawn shops is hazardous for my wallet. Granted, I got a CD, three large books, one of the Trivial Pursuit games, and a new hot/cold mug for around $10, but still XDXD


Oh, I've been having way too much fun with evil!Mega over at DDD. It doesn't help that I've actually got canon reasoning to give me a loophole to extend the virus for him. And there's about to be an epic showdown between him and Kite to boot. *sigh* Why is evil so fun. XD

WHICH REMINDS ME THOUGH. Is anyone else who uses Yahoo! Mail having problems with it? I've been having LOTS of issues with it timing out every time I try to view a new page x___X


I hope I get to go to the farmer's market tomorrow, and if so I hope I find some more scuppernong grapes. They're the absolute BEST in the world, and it makes me sad they only show up around the autumn season xD

On that note though, 23 days and counting. >____>
