The Oscars last night was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Seriously, they were so weird. Kirk Douglas wtf XDXD My favorite win of the night? Honestly, Natalie Portman for her performance in Black Swan. Because she is awesome and that was an AWESOME movie.

Let's see, RL stuff. I'm FINALLY over my freaking cold (sort of; I'm still phlegm-y but that may just be normal me) so I can reply to that meme. Speaking of memes there's another one below, stolen from my f-list at large. And speaking of the f-list, last call for the FTM talk filter.

I realized yesterday that my preferred method of dress-- button-up shirt (usually plaid, but not always) left open over a comfy T-shirt; jeans; sneakers --means I dress like how Ted Mosby, architect often does. I'm honestly not sure whether to be amused or not at this XD

Ugh. I know I have the meme responses to get to, but my cold is currently in that "getting worse before it gets better" state. In fact this LJ post is mostly just an update on that and an apology for why I haven't been seen lately (particularly in AIM). Computer virus and CB virus are killing my online time. Bbl.

Um, let's see here, updates updates. Oh! I finally found TWEWY, only a couple years behind the times. Oh well. I also bought a copy of FFX on a whim because hey, it was really cheap XD ~~And Soul Calibur III for the same reason but shh, don't tell anyone.~~

I had a weird dream the other night where I got a strange bruise all along the underside of my left arm. I mean, those HUGE bruises you see people get when they decide to skateboard down railings and eat it? Like that. It was freaky o_O Still not as bad as a skin disease one I had once though, that thing haunts me still. *shudders*

Battling with the computer yet again, but I think I've got it this time. Now I just have to find somewhere where I can get a new computer on a payment plan, either that or hope this one holds up long enough for me to save what's left of my tax refund on top of my paychecks and such.

Agh abruptly runny nose what the hell

Going to the NC State Fair tomorrow. I absolutely cannot wait <3 Expect a number of pictures too, because you can bet I'm taking my camera.

Speaking of attending things, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to attend Animazement 2011, for anyone who'll be in the Raleigh area next year around May. Right now? Looking at making a Giro cosplay.

In other news, I have been playing Pokemon like a madman. Madwoman? Whatever. I got my last two badges in SoulSilver, and now me and my trainer battle call guide are training for the Elite Four. ( For the curious, my team information )

And continuing the Pokemon kick, today while laying around and continuing to recover I'm going to marathon all the movies and specials I have. Which is kind of funny in that it begins with Mew (the First Movie, obviously) and ends with Mew (the latest one I have is the Lucario movie). I just think it's kinda funny how that worked out.

So, the good news about today is that I may finally be getting a new DS Lite. My federal refund is enough this year that I should be able to go get a new one when I pick up my copy of SoulSilver. I am happy~ I hope I can be able to do it. Plus, with my old DS Lite still able to play games (it just has broken shoulder buttons) that solves my problem of how to get the Spiky Eared Pichu and Jirachi (when I get it) into my game.

The bad news about today is I have a minor cold. I have some hot tea with honey though, so hopefully that will help ease the sore throat at least.

Horrible, dreadful, swimming headache. I blame it on the sunlight shining in my eyes yesterday while we were out (or at least, triggered by that one BIG BLAST of setting sun I had in the grocery store parking lot). It's considerably less today (so far) but bleh, I missed almost all of my friends last night because I was down. So, sorry guys XD; Migraines are bad, bad business. Either way taking painkillers to work, hoping I won't need them.

Before I got the stupid headache though we were out taking advantage of the nice day. Among the thrift store shopping part of the program I managed to snag a couple movies and a couple books (including Clan of the Cave Bear, which I'm really happy about finding), and at the chain store part I finally, after SO LONG, replaced my copy of Chamber of Secrets. And read it all once I got home XD. I also got some sticky hooks to put up my growing hat collection (which reminds me, I promised to photograph it for Kabby).

Not much else to report which is just as well, it's time to leave. I might add more later, I dunno.

Speaking of going out, Astro Boy comes out today. I don't usually make a habit of seeing movies on opening day, and in fact I may not go today, either. It depends on if the theater of choice is/looks packed or not. But sajksdhjkfad if I can go today, I so will ♥ No doubt about it.

I think I'm sick, guys.

You know how when you try to pick up goo or something, and it just kinda... ooooooozes through your fingers? Yeah. I feel like if I were picked up, that's what I'd do.

My head is swimming and stuffy, I get winded really easily, I'm coughing and sneezing, and just am generally "blah". I'm just hoping a lot of it is a byproduct of not getting much sleep last night, because oh man... Today's a cleaning day, the apartment must get clean, plus I have work in a couple days and I can't afford to lose hours.

If it turns out I am sick, I just hope it's a cold. I tend to get over those pretty quickly.

x__X I'M IN PAIN GUYS. Well. Sort of pain. It's kinda fading now... Ahem. Anyway, I woke up this morning unable to move my right elbow. It hurt like hell, enough to make me wonder if I had jammed it into my wall really hard in the night. My conclusion is a pinched nerve (or something along those lines) since the pain runs down my arm and into my pinkie finger, but aaaiiii... Still hurts like hell, even if it's now little more than dull ache. I'M GETTIN' OLD.

I spoke with Mew last night about revamping

psychosocial_rp. I want to completely redo the format, changing it away from being YET ANOTHER "stuck in another world" stories, yet keep the same basic plot. ...Said plot will also be explained better then, I swear. I may also take

its_guy_love off NPC status. I dunno, is it tacky for an actual character to be an NPC or considered an NPC, if his purpose in the game is as the guide? XD;; I'm open for ideas about the RP, if anyone has any.

Gradually plugging along in FF9 (I'm so happy I can play it again, eee~ ♥ ). So far I'm in Lindblum, juuuuust after having met Freya. For only having been playing since late on the 3rd, I think that's pretty good xDDD

I haven't eaten very much today. Like, the quantity of what I've eaten all day amounts to less than I'd eat at lunch. And right now I only feel slightly hungry, it's... weird. Really weird. In fact... Now that I think about it, my eating patterns have been on a sliding downhill slope. I'm just generally... eating less, or doing more grazing rather than actual meals (which I know sometimes nets you bigger food amounts in the overall, but still). Knowing me it's probably depression-related, since I've certainly been going through a funk lately. It just... kinda worries me, is all.

...Is it the 27th yet? I think getting out of Durham for a week is just what I need.

Aside from that, I'm glad my online source for Handy Manny episodes (which is the official site, btw) has finally put up semi-recently aired Picture Perfect, because I dearly want a better screenshot of this moment. ~~In a weird way I kinda ship those two, although I think it partly stems from an AU I've been working on where they're actually human, but whatever XD~~

Well, I think I may be going to the doctor tomorrow, depending on how my ankle feels when I wake up. It's no longer as badly swollen, but... :\ Well, you know when you hit somewhere like the top of your head on something and you get that hard knot that's like the bone itself has become the bump? Yeah. That's what the painful spot on the inside of my ankle feels like, hard with just a bit of give. It's probably just from whanging it somewhere but hey... better safe than sorry, right? ~~It would help if my mind wasn't running away with thoughts.~~

I've had the biggest drawing urge lately. Maybe I can direct it usefully, into a commission I've been having a little trouble with XD;

I'm in pain x___X Sometime within the past couple of days (probably at work) I managed to hit my leg. There's a sore lump on my inner right ankle now, complete with a bruise, and it's making it very difficult to walk. It'd help if we had crutches or something, but we don't so I've got to limp around. At least the apartment is small so I don't have to go very far in any direction XD;;
