I've been playing FF9 again recently. Dontchaknow, I only ever play old-as-hell games. I'm never up-to-date with ANYTHING. Started another new file and everything. Maybe I'll actually finish the game with this one, since I'm taking the time to learn abilities and such for once.


Still waiting for my EXE Complete Works to get here. ~_~


I was going to write something else but I forgot what, and now the latest FMA: Brotherhood episode is coming on, so I'm just gonna stay distracted and close the post here. *snickers*

Ugh. I am so sore after work yesterday XD; Next time I get the bright idea to spend half an hour on a tall ladder wrestling with a stubborn metal shelf that won't come out, someone convince me otherwise? Seriously, that thing was some four, four and a half feet long and absolutely wedged into where it was. Not the brightest idea I ever had. Oh well, at least I could put the boxes up on the shelf after that.


/revives GPX+ account. Also, next time I get another summoning item there, I'm just going to sell the damned thing. ~_~

*kerthud* 7 hour workday. Just... 7 hour workday. Not that I'm complaining, which I'm not. I like my jo-- Well, I like days like today anyway. It was just 3 hours longer than I thought it'd be, involved a lot of getting up and down a ladder (and often standing on it for extended periods), and a lot of kneeling (which is hard for me anyway since I can't put pressure on my left knee due to an old injury that never healed right). If my boss hadn't bought me lunch I would have been sunk, 'cause I didn't have my debit card with me XD;;

Long story short too late all I feel like doing right now is collapsing. Those who were expecting to talk to me tonight, I'm sorry, but I'm keeping it nice and quiet tonight, and I always get SWAMPED when I get on AIM. The CB train will be back in service tomorrow evening.




....That sounded so much better in my head.

Spring makes me happy. I don't really like closing shifts because they happen so late, but so long as it's not a busy day I don't mind. I need somewhere to take my Pokewalker though, I don't get nearly enough steps at work 8\ Ah well. My play in SS is kinda stalled at the moment anyway.


Got my new ID in the mail today. Looks a lot better than the old one xD And it won't expire for eight years. I mean just, damn. XDD Not to mention it's all new and shiny~

Besides that, icon has it about right, and the day's only halfway over. Work was alright, just boring and long (in the "I thought it'd never end" way). Now I'm going to go take a nap because I only got 2, 2 and a half hours of sleep last night. ...Which is my own fault, but whatever. >_>

Man I hope this cough goes away.

Two days in a row of working the extra hour the mall stays open for the Christmas season, a day off, then a midday shift on Christmas Eve. I'm definitely not looking forward to the Christmas shift (or the fact that, while I have Christmas itself off because the mall will be closed, I do work the day after) I do rather like the fact that I don't have to close. In kind of a mean-spirited way I like going "See you later, suckers" when I can just outright leave at the end of my shift XD
(Especially since I close 90% of my shifts anyway. Having an early or midday shift is somewhat a rare treat)


As for Christmas itself, no plans, really. Most of my family lives too far away for visit, or are out of state already. There's one of my uncles and his brood that we saw on Thanksgiving, but since we haven't heard from them yet I don't think we're going. So as far as I know, I'll likely be spending much of Christmas online. ...Or, knowing me, asleep.


The fact that there's a Wiki article for this amuses me greatly, and I'm not sure why.


On an unrelated note, I spent much of last night getting screencaps from videos for a shared fandom with mewberries151. Technically I was doing it to get icons for a new RP journal, but I got easily distracted and started getting shots of other characters xDD Oh well. Anyway, I've still got two videos to go, which I want to get to tonight (around 11-ish or so, when I'll actually be able to get online again). And it felt good to be able to share my caps with Mew; she gives me shots for this particular series ALL. THE. TIME. because her connection handles the official website's video player a LOT better than mine does, and I really enjoy being able to give her shots in return for a change. And Kaboot, remind me to give you some of these later, I think you'll really like them~ ;D


Oh, icon reminds me. I found out that iTunes has a soundtrack up for the P&F Christmas Special, to which I say... pfft, screw them. I can make my own mp3s from it for free XD ...Sure, doing so means recording the audio off the airing I taped the other day, then uploading and editing the clips on my computer which kinda means the quality is a little "Enh", BUT IT'S FREE. And I like doing it for myself. And doesn't require any sort of converter to turn whatever-format-iTunes-uses into mp3s. So hah. Hahahahaha.

...Okay sure the only mp3 I have from the special right now is "Where Did We Go Wrong?" but it's my favorite song. Which is kinda weird since it's such a depressing one. But Phineas is so cute in it I can't really help myself.


By the way, thanks to everyone who's answered the poll (so far?). There were actually a couple of pleasant surprises in there, people who're old friends/forum-mates of mine that I honestly didn't think read my LJ anymore. So yeah, that was a nice little surprise ^^ And since most of you left comments saying this: I was just asking about readers xD Comment!fail is no biggie if you ask me because, after all, I myself fail at commenting so much |D;; So don't worry about that. Simply knowing someone reads is enough for me.


On that note though, and in the interest of avoiding further tl;dr (and the fact I can't remember anything else I wanted to mention) I'm gonna end it here. Although one more thing, hopefully I can get back into clicking over at GPX+ soon x_X I've been really fail in it lately.

...Now if I could just get that shiny Mudkip I want. >_o

I pretty much just accidentally moved "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted" waaaaaayyy up in the canon than where it's supposed to be, over at DDD. I guess that's technically alright, because it can more or less be placed anywhere since as far as IC!Phineas is concerned, it all happens off-screen. And I have a follow-up post in mind anyway that'll sum up his real part in that episode...

*sigh* Oh well. I've kind of been going back and forth between production order and airing order of the episodes anyway, since there's no real clear-cut list of "this is the order of P&F episodes no matter what". So yeah. Amyjack, we may get to the Love Handel episode earlier than originally projected xDD

There's also a Halloween event going on at DDR (that'd be disney_dress) that I plan on taking FULL advantage of >3


Aside from that, I'm glad I get to take a breather from work for a few days (yesterday's events notwithstanding, sort of). ...Even if that means doing chores today. At least I can put on some music while I do them, eh? Or a movie or two.


Also eeee, Astro Boy movie comes out soon. I can't wait ♥


Oh yeah, one more thing. Took some neat photos at a historical site I went to the other day. Hopefully I can post them soon.

Ugh, I know I've been doing some sloooowww tagging to anyone at dear_mun or in dressing rooms XD; I'm mostly just doing laser-guided focus on my characters in dramadramaduck right now. I had a couple barely pass this past activity check, I'm not having that happen again. So to those I'm threading with outside of DDD, I'm sorry and I promise I'll get to you soon /o;;


Tomorrow is going to be frigid. I'm so glad I have no excuse to go anywhere. I am so sore; I'm just going to sit around all day tomorrow and play FF9 like a geek.

I'm trying to get longnshortofit canonmates for disney_dress, although I honestly don't think I'll get anywhere XD; There just seems to be too few fans of his canon that are also RPers on LJ :\ *sigh* I can try though, right?...


Aside from that, work tonight was dull as hell. We had no customers for the last two hours, except for maybe a couple of guys wandering in and wandering out. Hopefully there will be more later this week when I'm on again, because the slow days drraaaaagg XD;;


My dreams have been very, very weird lately. I'd like to have more where I could become a dragon though, that one was awesome.

Oogh, my stomach has been unsettled for the past couple of days. I know why, but that doesn't make enduring it any better. ~___~


Aside from that, I bought Guitar Hero: Smash Hits yesterday, and have already started playing it. So far... I've actually spent most of my time in Create A Rocker xDD But I'm also up to the second tier in Career Mode, so I guess that's good right? *snickers*


Floor move day at work, I think anyway. We've been doing so much over the past few days that I really wonder how much we've got left.


Must remember to try and fix my RP fail tonight.
