Now, since I know it doesn't like to read with my computer (since my computer is stupid, we know this) I have to put back codes by hand. I really, really should know better than to restart something when it's saving. Fuck.


At least my day was moderately better. Even if issues in RL are harshing my mellow (I always wanted to say that) I did find one of my favorite books, and for cheap too.


Oh! I'm gonna be getting a bird soon~ A parakeet/budgie/whatever you wanna call them, to be specific. Probably going to get a white one from Petsmart, although I may also go with blue. Dunno. But yeah, bird~

Yesterday? Sucked. Work sucked, after work sucked, and it seemed like every time I was in line with one or two items, the person in front of me had a BILLION and were either paying in pennies or left their effin' card out in the car. The highlights of my day were sending off a package finally and getting one of those springy Santa hats I've been wanting. That's it. Although one of my obscure-ish muses got a canonmate but that happened after midnight and thus technically didn't count as yesterday. >_>

Today? Doesn't seem to be much better. I've only been up for... *counts* three hours, and I've already climbed the peaks of happiness and fallen into the depths of despair. I'm getting nagged again, and I'm tired as fuck but might not have time to take a nap before work. Oh, and did I mention I hate the post office? And my mailman, who did NOT give me one of those little "You've got a package waiting" slips despite what EVERYONE at the post office said. I got the package, which was really sweet-- a Progress PET(!!) Christmas gift from Mew --which, so far, has been today's highlight; also Mew, if you see this before we speak again, thank you, and the pictures of Mini and Melody were adorable. *sigh* And for today, there's a long way to go. Fingers crossed that it doesn't continue to blow monkey chunks.

After too many months of waiting (seriously, something like five??) the second volume of the ZX manga I ordered arrived. Three days early. I'm hoping Megamix 2 comes tomorrow because man that'd be awesomesauce.

On top of that, I have York mint pieces (they're like Reese's pieces but not). And Bass is back at DDD. And Giro got a REAL canon move even if it's a sad one (BUT IT GETS BETTER kinda). And I found a place to download the soundtrack to Command Mission cuz I'm a geek like that. Not to mention some boss ideas for an RP-related fic, AND GETTING A COMMISSION FINALLY, and adding a new Sector 5 Marauder and yeah.

Today rules. Especially compared to lately.


Coherence later, CB's tired and going to sleep and dream of ways to murderlize Styx (but not really) for igniting the Digimon nerd in me again.

OKAY HAPPY ENTRY. Happy... short... entry because this is about the only remarkable thing that happened today XDXD So, I was out looking for the Megaman ZX manga to check and see if it really had been delayed. It has, sadface. BUT. We went to Blockbuster on the way home because I wanted to rent a copy of Mulan (I'LL BUY MY OWN SOMEDAY I SWEAR) and we were rooting through the used DVDs for sale, which were on a 2 for $20 deal.

Long story short too late we now own a barebones copy of Up, and a copy of 9.

UP. And 9. Both of which are movies I was DYING to see but couldn't at the time. I've seen Up so far (OMGGGGG <3333333 ) and hope to see 9 tomorrow.

Not sure which I'm more happy about today: going to the local botanical gardens and having been able to get impossibly close to a duck for some pictures; finding a $5 copy of Corpse Bride at Wal-Mart; finding the Astro Boy movie DVD, also at Wal-Mart; getting a big loaf of bread with assorted seeds (and garlic!) on it; or some threads/plots I have going on with seventh_gospel in a couple different places.

All in all, it's been a good day.


SoulSilver update: Taking on the gym challenge in Kanto. So far I have... one. There's a Lugia in my team, I'm not ashamed to admit it. XD The others all get the most use though. And my Nidoking is the most adorable thing ever. ♥

Don't mind me, just posting a link to my HMD thread for the DDD people on my f-list. I could use comments/concrit on Phineas especially, to those who happen to have seen gonnadoitall around XD;


On a sidenote, giving a cat a bath is not a fun thing. Just sayin'.

Two days in a row of working the extra hour the mall stays open for the Christmas season, a day off, then a midday shift on Christmas Eve. I'm definitely not looking forward to the Christmas shift (or the fact that, while I have Christmas itself off because the mall will be closed, I do work the day after) I do rather like the fact that I don't have to close. In kind of a mean-spirited way I like going "See you later, suckers" when I can just outright leave at the end of my shift XD
(Especially since I close 90% of my shifts anyway. Having an early or midday shift is somewhat a rare treat)


As for Christmas itself, no plans, really. Most of my family lives too far away for visit, or are out of state already. There's one of my uncles and his brood that we saw on Thanksgiving, but since we haven't heard from them yet I don't think we're going. So as far as I know, I'll likely be spending much of Christmas online. ...Or, knowing me, asleep.


The fact that there's a Wiki article for this amuses me greatly, and I'm not sure why.


On an unrelated note, I spent much of last night getting screencaps from videos for a shared fandom with mewberries151. Technically I was doing it to get icons for a new RP journal, but I got easily distracted and started getting shots of other characters xDD Oh well. Anyway, I've still got two videos to go, which I want to get to tonight (around 11-ish or so, when I'll actually be able to get online again). And it felt good to be able to share my caps with Mew; she gives me shots for this particular series ALL. THE. TIME. because her connection handles the official website's video player a LOT better than mine does, and I really enjoy being able to give her shots in return for a change. And Kaboot, remind me to give you some of these later, I think you'll really like them~ ;D


Oh, icon reminds me. I found out that iTunes has a soundtrack up for the P&F Christmas Special, to which I say... pfft, screw them. I can make my own mp3s from it for free XD ...Sure, doing so means recording the audio off the airing I taped the other day, then uploading and editing the clips on my computer which kinda means the quality is a little "Enh", BUT IT'S FREE. And I like doing it for myself. And doesn't require any sort of converter to turn whatever-format-iTunes-uses into mp3s. So hah. Hahahahaha.

...Okay sure the only mp3 I have from the special right now is "Where Did We Go Wrong?" but it's my favorite song. Which is kinda weird since it's such a depressing one. But Phineas is so cute in it I can't really help myself.


By the way, thanks to everyone who's answered the poll (so far?). There were actually a couple of pleasant surprises in there, people who're old friends/forum-mates of mine that I honestly didn't think read my LJ anymore. So yeah, that was a nice little surprise ^^ And since most of you left comments saying this: I was just asking about readers xD Comment!fail is no biggie if you ask me because, after all, I myself fail at commenting so much |D;; So don't worry about that. Simply knowing someone reads is enough for me.


On that note though, and in the interest of avoiding further tl;dr (and the fact I can't remember anything else I wanted to mention) I'm gonna end it here. Although one more thing, hopefully I can get back into clicking over at GPX+ soon x_X I've been really fail in it lately.

...Now if I could just get that shiny Mudkip I want. >_o

Other than that, not much to report. Cleaning today, but also played some of FF9. I guess I'm doing better than the last time I played, considering the Antlion in Cleyra (an old sticking point for me) was taken down with little trouble. Thundara helped plenty too, as did Vivi's Trance xD


I need food.

HOME. I'm home. I am so happy to be here, you don't even know. And I'm actually looking forward to going to work tomorrow, not to mention the Managerial Powers That Be are going to give me MORE HOURS. So hooray~

God I'm tired though. I think I'm going to go take a short nap before I get online to stay tonight.

Hmm, what else? Oh yeah. I got a shiny new copy of FF9 for my birthday too~ ♥♥♥ I'm already up to the crash landing in Evil Forest. I foresee much playing of it in the future.


Ugh, my eyes are having problems getting used to an 800x600 resolution again.

I'm trying to get longnshortofit canonmates for disney_dress, although I honestly don't think I'll get anywhere XD; There just seems to be too few fans of his canon that are also RPers on LJ :\ *sigh* I can try though, right?...


Aside from that, work tonight was dull as hell. We had no customers for the last two hours, except for maybe a couple of guys wandering in and wandering out. Hopefully there will be more later this week when I'm on again, because the slow days drraaaaagg XD;;


My dreams have been very, very weird lately. I'd like to have more where I could become a dragon though, that one was awesome.
