Anyone else having issues with LJ icons not loading? Or is my computer just being stupid again? ~_~;

Um, let's see here, updates updates. Oh! I finally found TWEWY, only a couple years behind the times. Oh well. I also bought a copy of FFX on a whim because hey, it was really cheap XD And Soul Calibur III for the same reason but shh, don't tell anyone.


I had a weird dream the other night where I got a strange bruise all along the underside of my left arm. I mean, those HUGE bruises you see people get when they decide to skateboard down railings and eat it? Like that. It was freaky o_O Still not as bad as a skin disease one I had once though, that thing haunts me still. *shudders*


Battling with the computer yet again, but I think I've got it this time. Now I just have to find somewhere where I can get a new computer on a payment plan, either that or hope this one holds up long enough for me to save what's left of my tax refund on top of my paychecks and such.

I finished Apollo Justice last night (OMG SO BELATED I KNOW RIGHT? *shot*). Stayed up some 2 hours longer than I should to do so, too XD And I'm proud to say I only used an FAQ once on that case, when I got stuck because I forgot the "PRESENT EVERYTHING" Golden Rule of the Ace Attorney games. The ending ;o; So cute. And didn't see part of it coming, about the woman. Still wish Apollo and Trucy were told but eh, maybe if someday we get an AJ2. *stares hard at Capcom, until remembering they're doing a Layton/AA crossover, at which point everything is mostly forgiven*


Had a rough night the other night, got out a few things I'd been holding back though.


Oh yeah, and apparently when half-asleep apparently I can psychically conduct a crescendo in music playing on TV.


Virus update part 2: Computer's still working okay, so long as I'm careful, scan everything, etc. Still looking to get a new system. May be able to get one next month.

I need the hand of any computer experts who happen to be on my f-list.

I seem to have come down with a case of unwise_.exe >_>; The only problem is, it doesn't seem to be in the stupid folder that all the viral reports say it is. Nor can I close it through Task Manager, which keeps reporting "Access is denied" (despite the fact I'm on the admin account). I went through Registry and deleted it, or so I thought because it's still there. I need to find out how to find the file path (as Search isn't finding it either; all it reports are the more benign unwise.exe uninstall files) so I can get rid of the damn thing.

I run Win2K Pro (yes yes CB is behind the times). If anyone thinks they can help I can give more details if needed. This thing is bugging the crap out of me, especially in that I can't seem to get rid of it.

I think I'm falling in love with K-Meleon. It's like having Firefox 2 again without actually having Firefox 2. The only problem I've seen is that there's no LJLogin add-on for it, but I haven't checked to see if there's an equivalent yet.

Oh, and I've got to manually bring over bookmarks from Firefox, not to mention I lost what I wrote down all my LJ passwords in. Buuuut that's no biggie. Only about 10% of my bookmarks are ones I used regularly, and I can get the passwords no problem XD

BUT THERE'S VIRTUALLY NO LAG. It doesn't freeze, or hang up, or anything like that. I'm willing to go back to the "old school" way of LJ tagging via the login/logout screen if it means I can forget about Firefox stressing my computer beyond its limits.

Okay, I've had it with my connection. Not the dial-up itself, not at heart-- I've had it long enough that I know how to make it do what I want. But the provider?? I've had it up to HERE with its stupid program, its self-updating that only makes it worse, and its incessant need to shut me off either when I haven't shown any "activity" online or after a period of 8 hours, neither of which I can turn off.

I swear it. I don't care what I have to do but this year? This year is the year WE. DROP. DIAL-UP!

So, the state fair is in town. I used to go annually when I was younger, but that stopped about 3-4 years ago, maybe more (y'all know my memory's bad). Well, with any luck I'll be able to go this year~! With a little creative use of monetary assets. I should totally take my camera and take pictures for you guys.


....Did I actually use the word "y'all"? Oh well.



Anyway, I've been having issues with Trillian lately :\ Yes, and that's as in the mass messenger client. Normally I sign onto AntiGravReploid (my usual AIM name) with it, but as of late my connection (or my computer, one) has taken issues with it, aside from the normal "WHOA TRILLIAN TAKES A LOT OF MEMORY, HAVE SOME LAAAAAAAG" ones. Namely, it's started signing me offline about 10-15 minutes after I sign on x_X So... *sighs* I dunno. I've got a copy of AIM 6 on this computer, maybe I can get it to work for me. (I usually use AIM 5.x, on a backup name to AntiGrav.) We'll see what works.




As a final note, I've got a growing online "family," as it were XDXD ...No sisters yet, but two brothers and incidentally, IRL both my "brothers" are girls. XDXD Does that make them my sister-brother?

Hell, I'm even somebody's Nobody now, if that counts. XD (That's much less depressing than it sounds.)



Wtf. My cat was sitting in the window and I blew on her head, and she took that as a sign to come and sit on top of my arms in front of the keyboard. I have a weird cat who's secretly Bass.EXE in disguise but that's a tale for another day.



By the way Jen (rini124), I'm sorry I don't draw at the oekaki board more often XD;; I need to totally do more drawings there. Maybe I could actually get GOOD at drawing Geo.

*sigh* Aside from that, my add-ons in Firefox 2 (and now Firefox 3, since I upgraded) have stopped working right. I'm kinda hoping it's just a quirk in my computer, where it likes to fuck with things as a way to tell me it needs to be restarted.

Argh, dammit, my computer never remembers the correct time anymore ><; Almost every day I'm resetting it, either from AM when it's really PM, to the correct hour, or hell just now I had to put it on the right DAY. I have no clue why it does this... Maybe I can find something on Google...


Anyway, different news. In the RP community dramadramaduck I've got three characters: Bass (Classic Megaman); Giro (Megaman ZX); and Astro Boy (yes, that Astro Boy). I honestly find it funny that it's my newest character, Astro, that's proving to be more popular than either of the first two XD I think I said it best while talking about the situation with my dad: "I think it's because my other two characters are Megaman characters. One of them is from an old series, and one's from a slightly new series, and not everyone's played those. But everybody and their grandmother knows who Astro Boy is XD."

I'm honestly surprised I haven't picked up a Code Lyoko character yet, though. Maybe I'll pick up Odd, who was dropped (flamingly_fey, you were the original Odd-mun weren't you? Thoughts, if you see this entry?). Or heck, maybe even Ulrich XD Since, no thanks to mewberries151 and lyokolady, I've been liking him more and more. Can't imagine WHY... ;P


Anyway, I've got some time to kill before work... I think I'm going to work on my moodsets some more XD

My connection has been very evil today :\ Pup can attest to that. It's been connecting, disconnecting, reconnecting... I must've restarted my computer a hundred times ><; I need DSL ;o;


Other than that, I have lost my GBA x_X And normally it wouldn't matter, but Pup gave me it, and BN3 was in it which was ALSO given to me by Pup... T_T I hope I find it soon. Or at all....
