I'm way too amused that Zero the Skarmory and Axl the Ditto made an egg before I barely got out of Goldenrod. Yes, only other Megaman fans will get that, oh well.

Just an update since I haven't done one in a while.

I have Apollo Justice~ FINALLY, courtesy of Pup. I also have Time Hollow (which I can't WAIT to start) and DQ5. My DS is going to be busy for a good while xDD


My Megaman book still isn't here yet, but it's good. It's coming from the UK and has an estimated delivery period of 7-10 days, so I can't even BEGIN to expect it until Thursday XD (Although because I'm an optimistic fool, I'm hoping I'll get reeeeaaaallllyyyy lucky and it'll show up tomorrow. >> )


Can't wait for Puppy Bowl |D; XD Also the episode of Iron Chef America where Duff Goldman competes.


Not much else to report really. So I'll just end it here and go back to playing AJ xDD Watch, I'll get a muse for Apollo before the month is out.

Feeling better than I was before. Still a little stuffy and bleh, but a couple of naps I took yesterday really helped.


I kinda wanna take pictures of my room even if no one would be particularly interested in what it looks like. I think I posted some before, but it's different now xD I could use a chair for it, though. Hm, maybe I can find one while out today...


Speaking of going out, Astro Boy comes out today. I don't usually make a habit of seeing movies on opening day, and in fact I may not go today, either. It depends on if the theater of choice is/looks packed or not. But sajksdhjkfad if I can go today, I so will ♥ No doubt about it.

You know, Dynasty Warriors really is more fun to play with a friend. Unfortunately, the only person I routinely play with is my nephew, and he hasn't been able to visit lately XD; Hopefully something soon, though.


I know it may be weird to have favorite commercials, but I really like that one Folgers commercial with the riverdancing. I don't even know why, but it just... I dunno. I just love it.

Well, it took about two weeks of rescheduling again and again thanks to Screwed By the Landlords, but we finally got satellite TV. Now, if only I didn't have to go to work in an hour, I could play around with it more xDD At least I can goof around in it tonight.


Not really much else to say beyond that. On July 11th I've got a special preview to attend at the local Museum of Life and Science in return for having blogged about it in the past year (I can only assume they mean the mention under the Durham heading in this entry, although I wonder how they found it). It's a revival of the old Dinosaur Trail that used to be here YEAAARRRSSS ago, with dinosaur statues and history, and fossil digging and stuff. I'll likely have pictures for it, so those few who might be interested, you've got something to look forward to.


I already mentioned it at Twitter but I'm going to dye my hair again, dark blue this time (as opposed to the purple I was last time). ...The trouble is actually finding it. Hell, I may even go with a different brand than last time if possible. Either way though I'm cutting it shorter for summer too. Pictures may come or they may not.


Been experimenting with slight changes in my art style, a sort of slimming and refining of the way I do faces. It's still anime style, but it's slowly evolving towards something like say, DCMK or Death Note's style (just for example) than the old way I did it, which I cite as a Pokemon-type way. At least early on. It's taking a lot of tweaking but hey, nothing worth it is easy, right?

All hyperlinks because there's 21 of them XD And I didn't do any color editing or anything, so it's a little desaturated here and there because my camera kinda sucks like that.

I think this is my favorite of my most recent photos. Like I said in a prior entry, my camera's really good for taking pics of clouds/the sky and I love that.

I am also cheered by the fact that I have a few days off now, after working quite a bit this week. Yes, that's missed money, but retail is surprisingly more stressful than some might think (except those who... also work in retail XD ) so I take what I can get.


On a little unpleasant news, I'm still deciding what to do about my DS. I may send it in to Nintendo to get fixed, even though it'll cost me a pretty penny or two XD;; But really, it'd cost more to get a new one (even with trade-in accounted for) so... I guess it's more a matter over whether I can deal with broken buttons or not (which is slowly becoming a "No, I can't" :\ ).

I want to make an icon with this screenshot.


Note to self: Continue work on EXE moodset later. XD Also, go back and begin tagging old entries. In fact... *goes to start it now*

Aside from that...

I went to a concert on the 20th for Avenged Sevenfold and, for those wondering, I had LOTS of fun. ...Well okay, that's a bit of a lie. I arrived, via train, in the city at 10:30 in the morning, and the concert wasn't untill 8. PM. I walked from the station to the club where it was being held, which was a few miles at least (not sure how many) although on the plus side, this meant I got to the concert WAY EARLY and was fourth in line (I was also there early enough to hear the sound check, which was neat in it's own right). There was a long wait, but I got to talk to a couple really nice girls after me in line. When they actually started letting us in, it started getting crowded FAST (it was, literally, one big mosh pit). Those of us at the very front got squished often. And there were three opener bands (decent at best if you ask me XD ) making the wait even longer, and the mob was getting testy.

But once A7X came on it was all worth it. Here, lemme set this up as one of those Mastercard commercials XD

Concert tickets: $29 included taxes and fees
Train tickets: $44 for both
Getting to hear "Beast and the Harlot", "Bat Country", and "Seize the Day" live from within 10 feet of the band: Priceless

They, obviously, played more songs than those three, but those are my personal favorite A7X songs XD They also sang a couple from their new CD, which has cemented it in my mind that I've gotta get it, because those songs were awesome.



And on other news, for those who watch fishgoat_inc, I'm sorry I haven't updated it in a while XD; But most of my stuff has been going to DA immediately. However, I promise I'll have some new art there soon XD


For a random note, my EXE manga collection is almost complete. I just have to get Vol. 4, 7, and 9. And I'm SO FREAKING JEALOUS of zero_seven_four who's got a copy of Volume 7 autographed by Brad Swaile (Lan's VA). Damn you Nettooooo XDXD


Finally, I promised you guys Tandokucon photos, and now you've got 'em. BE WARNED: Their quality is not all that great. They were taken with a one-use camera in somewhat low light. I made them the best I could, however XD; There's also no pics of me, Pup, or Mew in here, but that's because my camera was devoted to other things XD

How was everyone's New Years? Mine was....ehhh, subdued. I spent most of it on the computer, because I have no life like that xD; Anyway, the people I'd wanted to spend it with were either gone, or out-of-state, so online was just as good :P If you must know though, I was nowhere near the computer at the midnight moment xD


Guess what? I have ordered yet MORE Detective Conan merchandise! :D What I ordered were the "Best of Detective Conan" CD's, Volumes 1 and 2. They should get here Saturday, or Monday at the latest ^^ Though, knowing me, I'll probably get them NEXT Monday ^^;;;...


My journal is going to get a minor redo soon. I'm still going to keep "Odd One Out" (the current color layout), but I'm gonna make it a little more obvious of who the look was inspired by :P I just gotta find a good enough pic for a background...


Alright, now for the real reason behind this entry :P I have FINALLY scanned in the pics I took this past Halloween! And despite being embarassed at posting a pic of myself online, here they are anyway ^^; Actually, you can say whatever you wish about me, I don't care. Ha xD Not ALL the pics are of me, though :P Just...bah, you'll see. Have fun browsin' 'em!

Well, that's the set! The only ones that turned out any good, anyway. Cameron was the Grim Reaper/Scream guy that night (he wore a Scream mask, but was otherwise dressed as Death). I was Ron Stoppable, of Kim Possible fame. If you noticed, the filename of each picture began with "RSH", which stands for...well, "Ron Stoppable's Halloween" :P Ahhh, that night was fun. Especially when Cameron and I broke into NMBC's "This Is Halloween" at one point XD We got so many stares! For the record, Cammy's the only one who actually trick-or-treated, I just escorted him. I may be 20, but I still get a huge kick out of pretending to be someone else, even if just for a night...

Thought I should mention, Cameron was 9 at the time :P

By the way, in case you were wondering: Yes I did sing "The Naked Mole Rap" at one point. That got me some stares too *grins, and snickers*
