(no subject)

While I was at work today, my disabled father took a bad fall and banged up his knee, maybe even cracked his hip again. Now he's going to be in the hospital for at least a couple days, and while I know what hospital I haven't been able to go- I could have left work but I didn't know which hospital then, and now it's the end of visiting hours and my only ride's the bus.

I know it's not healthy, but I can't stop thinking "Maybe if I'd been here..." Either way, I'm now on my own for a while. And with my work hours getting doubled thanks to the promotion, as well as taking care of things around here... well. I hope you'll all forgive me if I'm not online as much anymore.
