♪ It's like riding on the wind, and it never goes away

I love the things my Pokemon do when they've got high friendship in-game. And sure, a Pidgeot or Meganium turned suddenly playful, or cuddling up to me is cute enough, but when a Gyarados responds that way? BEST MENTAL IMAGES EVER.

Also, my Magnemite is utterly adorable. I think he's going to be my main Pokewalker 'mon, type be damned. He just seems to love the strolls so much xDD (Going back to the cuteness mentioned above, I just got the message "Bryant cheered!" around 8k steps today, and he found an X Attack. See? Cute. ♥ )


Sometimes it might be silly to feel loved by pixels but dammit, my Pokemon make me happy. XD

This is my 1,003rd journal entry. Considering I've had this journal for 6 years now... I dunno, would that be good or bad? XDXD


So, I have Pokemon SoulSilver. So far I'm in Ecruteak City, putting off my battle with Morty as long as possible-- I mean, training my team. So far I have: Rock the Magikarp (lv19), Legato the Bayleef (lv19), Vent the Pidgeotto (lv19), Netto the Geodude (lv23), Forte the Gastly (lv20), and fresh catch Echo the NidoranM (lv12). Three badges down, 13 to go.


In RP news, I think I'm going to take Jailcat over to its_a_pub. I think he'd be fun to have there XD


Aaannnnd in work-related news, I'm trying to get a job over at a nearby Gamestop. I hope I can, I'd like to work somewhere ELSE please x_X;;


Got my dad his birthday gift today. Not mentioning what it is because he occasionally reads my LJ, but I have it XD Now I just have to... wrap it. Joy of joys.

I had a weird dream last night. Yes, another one. Suffice to say all of my dreams are weird xD But this one had someone I've never dreamt about to date (Jem knows all about that)--Jimmy Kudo (though he went by his Japanese name, Shinichi, in the dream itself). And someone I haven't dreamt about in a LONG time--Ash Ketchum, albeit a slightly older one (he appeared to be in his teen years). Wanna know more? Read on...



The dream began on a tall, snowy hill at an event that was like X Games meets the Iditarod (sp? ^^; ) dog races. Everyone there was dressed up in winterwear--appropriate, giving the scenery :P Among the people present, there were competitors for some weird sport, which was never given a name (any I remember) in the dream. Okay, remember that mix I mentioned? It continued in the sport itself. Take a snowboard and tack a T-shaped bar near the backend. There's a two-person team to each of these things. One person stands on the snowboard itself, the second is behind the handle, and gives the thing its running start down the hill, and helps to direct it. Three teams competed at once, going down an obstacle course, and if one or both of your people didn't finish with the helmets you're supposed to wear at the start (regular old bicycle helmets), then you were disqualified from that one race. Oh yes, and after every race you switched pairs, but could keep the same person if you wanted to.

I remember standing off to one side for a while, just watching the other racers compete. After a few go's, I saw it was my turn to speed down the hill. Shinichi--my partner for the first race, was already getting the board ready, so I took my spot as the one behind the bar. Racing against us was a couple of random idiotic-type guys, and Ash and some unidentified girl (my character CK, I think). The officiate for the event started the race, and we were off. I don't remember much about the race itself, except a nasty bump caused me to lose my helmet (it wasn't strapped on ^^; ), so Shinichi and I were disqualified for that race. Ash ended up winning that one.

There was a break then, and the competitors and spectators alike started to just wander throughout the area. I was approached by one of the idiotic guys, who said he wanted to be my partner for the next race, and he would make his old partner go with Ash, so that Ash would lose the next one. Then he walked away.

I watched him go, then turned and went off to find Shinichi and Ash, who were talking together near a grouping of small trees. I told both of them the weird guy's plan, and then Shinichi said "Well, why don't we just switch partners between ourselves, which will force that guy to keep his same partner. They're perfect for each other anyway." I and Ash agreed to those terms, and we started heading back for the racing spot, with me in the middle, my arms around both their waists in a friendly sort of way. Shinichi turned to me and smiled, saying "Why don't you go with Ash, then you'll win" and ran off to find his partner. Ash and I turned to each other, smiling, and we hugged close for a moment, while I said "Good, we have a thing for each other anyway", to which he replied with a soft chuckle and "Yeah" ^^

The break period now over, the racers were lining up. I just stepped onto the back of the board when the race started, leaving me barely enough time to get my helmet on and start the board running (Ash helped by pushing with one foot to make up for lost time). Pretty soon we were speeding down the course, behind the other two pairs. Reaching an area where the racers have to duck down below branches (that give way if you hit them but could still knock you off), the weird guys crashed, leaving it to me and Ash, and Shinichi and his partner. We went on pretty evenly until we reached a slalom-like area, where our team pulled ahead. It was smooth sailing to the end, where Ash and I crossed the finish line first. The dream ended with the event's officiate handing the two of us a trophy, and us giving the crowd triumphant grins and V-signs among loud cheers.



And that's the dream. I told you it was a pretty weird one :P I even remember the wintery outfits that were worn, but I won't bore you with that xD And I'm debating whether or not to do a drawing based off the dream. Hey, I could always use more practice drawing Ash, and lots of my best ideas come from dreams xD Hmm, decisions, decisions...
