Writer's Block: A rose by any other name

My name's Candida. For the longest time I didn't like it, actually. I first went by the full version, then the shortened (Candi), then back to the full version during school, and around my mid-to-late teen years I promised myself I would change it. Then... I dunno, it just became different. I like my birth name now, even if no one seems to be able to pronounce it XD Although the funniest "mispronunciation" I ever had was my middle school shop teacher electing to call me Canada Dry, even going to the extent of writing it on hall passes. That always made me laugh.
But yeah. I enjoy my birth name now, and I doubt I'd change it.
