Since there's a few RPers on my f-list, I'm pimping

psychosocial_rp again, in honor of actually having activitttyyyy. I've failed RPs before, I'm not letting my own die. Especially not after I went to so much trouble to rewrite the damn thing xD At least give it a look, ah?

Aaannnd if you don't feel like clicking the cut, at least know this much: It's a comm-based multi-fandom RP that accepts AUs and OCs, and is not one of those "taken to another world" types. We neeeeeeed people, so at least look around xDD Please?

Rewatched several episodes on one of my few EXE Axess tapes (in this case, it's the last 10 episodes of the English version, on that particular VHS). I dearly wish I had more though. Which reminds me, I need to start getting the DVDs of the original seasons again. XD

Still no event egg over at GPX :\ But at least I finally have a female Togepi. Here's hoping Squirtle hatches out into the gender I need too XD;

Okay so yes this is an LJ RP ad. But it's for my RP, which I've recently gone and revamped. I'm just going to stick the profile summary in here so I don't kill any layouts with the actual code; the profile itself has all the info you could ever need. People on my f-list who RP around LJ, please at least check it out?

Oh! And for those that remember the last time I pumped Psychosocial, it's different now. I've redone the story and given the whole thing an overhaul, so if you looked before and decided against it, I think it might deserve a second glance? XD So uhm, yeah. Have fun.

Psychosocial
1. refers to mental health and social conditions, or factors that affect psychological or social well-being
2. having both psychological and social aspects

It all started in an unknown year, in a city tucked far away. There scientists toiled with things unheard of, taking outlandish theories that even crazy people with tinfoil hats threw aside, trying to make them real. Alternate universes. The ability to not only travel time, but manipulate it and warp it. The belief that if someone imagined it, it would come into being on another plane.

Crazy, right? Until each and every one of those was proven right.

Turns out, there is something out there. Hundreds, thousands, MILLIONS of other universes, countless alternate realities that even the scientists hadn't dared to dream of. Their findings were amazing, and they hoped to turn the scientific community on its head. Except... they didn't. They were laughed at, and their ideas and experiments were thrown away. However no good scientist lets the teasing of their peers get them down, and this fringe group was no exception. This is where you come in.

Your day may have started out innocently enough. Sitting down to check your e-mail you noticed a strange message in there. "I need your help." Spam, right? Wrong. This is an e-mail from one of the scientists, who have found out some way to contact your world, to contact you. The message goes on to describe their problem and what you have to do. It's no big deal really, just make occasional posts to a journal community that's already been set up for the purpose. There's nowhere to go and no dangers to face. In fact, they even agree to compensate you for your time and patience. Maybe you waffle back and forth on the decision for a while, maybe you jump right in, or maybe you just get tired of the constant flood of e-mails about it. Either way you join the community, and make your first post. Simple, right?

Maybe not as simple as it seems. Welcome to the experiment.

x__X I'M IN PAIN GUYS. Well. Sort of pain. It's kinda fading now... Ahem. Anyway, I woke up this morning unable to move my right elbow. It hurt like hell, enough to make me wonder if I had jammed it into my wall really hard in the night. My conclusion is a pinched nerve (or something along those lines) since the pain runs down my arm and into my pinkie finger, but aaaiiii... Still hurts like hell, even if it's now little more than dull ache. I'M GETTIN' OLD.

I spoke with Mew last night about revamping

psychosocial_rp. I want to completely redo the format, changing it away from being YET ANOTHER "stuck in another world" stories, yet keep the same basic plot. ...Said plot will also be explained better then, I swear. I may also take

its_guy_love off NPC status. I dunno, is it tacky for an actual character to be an NPC or considered an NPC, if his purpose in the game is as the guide? XD;; I'm open for ideas about the RP, if anyone has any.

Gradually plugging along in FF9 (I'm so happy I can play it again, eee~ ♥ ). So far I'm in Lindblum, juuuuust after having met Freya. For only having been playing since late on the 3rd, I think that's pretty good xDDD

You know, I think I'm getting to be alright at present tense Spanish, given that's what my current book teaches. Either when I finish it or the next time I get paid, whichever happens first, I think I'm going to go back to B&N and see what I can find that teaches a broader scope, including past and future. But hey, at least I'm getting there, right?

Agh, still no action over at

psychosocial_rp, but I've got hope! I've gotten at least two apps promised, so once they come in and the play actually gets underway, maybe I can actually get MORE people in.

Speaking of Psychosocial, I think I'm going to change the structure so there's optional emphasis on journals. We'll see how that goes.

Uhm, let's see what else... Oh! I was mentioned in the RP Lovings Anonmeme, sort of, under the DDD section. Someone said they liked Bass and how he was outwardly hostile, inwardly decent. So yay 8D I feel a little more loved now~ *snickers*

I've been having a LOT of kids randomly saying "Hi!" to me lately. I don't know what it is about me, but it keeps happening xD It's cute, but it makes me wonder if I'm suddenly projecting some sort of kid-friendly vibe now.

I seriously need to stop having the song Dear God by Avenged Sevenfold pop up in my dreams. It's kind of creeping me out. Although as far as their songs in dreamland go, NOTHING beats the concert dream with Bat Country.
Hah, the title on that entry is the same caption as my current icon. *keeps it that way just because* XD

Next time I go to the laundromat, I'm bringing one of those little battery powered personal fans. That place was HOT today @___X;;;

The scientists created a portal using a brand-new element that they simply termed "Genesis", in hopes that it would lead them to something new in their experiments. Unfortunately the portal grew far too big too fast, ripping a hole in space-time and sucking in the city with it. It now exists on its own plane, although the wormhole's influence bled out beyond the borders long ago. It touches countless other worlds and other times, creating disturbances and sucking them into the city. The scientists are still working in their labs, striving to return to the Earth they know.

And they need your help.

Oh, you won't know you're helping. One of the scientists has harnessed a small part of the power of Genesis and uses it to take materials for their experiments to get home. You may lose an object one day, a memory the next. You may change shape or age, or even gender. Robots become humans, humans became animals. You might not even be hit at all. What the scientists do with these results is unknown, and it might not even be related to the portal at all. But what is certain is that the effects of Genesis make life in this wasted city very interesting; and that someone, somewhere, is watching.
