roll_soulSince I did Jailcat the first day, it's only fitting to do Jingles the next. And other than the meme I have nothing to update with, really, so here we go~
OC's Name: Jingles (Goody Bag/monster form Main storyline Main storyline, late outfit Future/fast-forward storyline)
Project Name: Dragon Quest 8: Compass of the Broken Wish
Age of Conception: 23-ish
Inspiration: He's most likely an amalgamation of two old characters of mine, a demon named Drear and an anthro cat/jester named Braffigan of the Bells. There's more about that in the fourth picture's description, linked above.
Fun Facts: Originally started out as a Goody Bag, a monster of questionable intelligence that exists in the Dragon Quest (8 and onwards) world. Was captured by Jailcat and then released, but decided to trail after him and utterly dedicated himself to the wellbeing of the thief. Their friendship exploded by leaps and bounds when a curse turned Jingles into a human, and when a cure presented itself to turn him back, he decided to remain a human for Jailcat. When their enemy nearly killed Jailcat during a final showdown in a dark realm, the monster energies still in Jingles warped him and he fended off a large part of the attack. This warp left its mark on him (as visible in said fourth drawing). Later on in life he'd take up a job as a jester/fire-eater/magician, using his own latent magic to aid in his performances. He and Jailcat are still attached at the hip. (For Scrubs fans, they're essentially the JD and Turk of the DQ8 RP)
