roll_soulCatching up on the 30 Day meme, yay~ Pfft. XD
It's hard to say who my first love, really. There was this boy in middle school who I had a crush on, though it didn't go anywhere because he moved- I doubt it would have gone anywhere, anyway. There was He Who Must Not Be Named, who hardly even counts but must be mentioned nonetheless. There was Dias, my first long-distance relationship, which ended on rocky terms and then on better ones. And then there's Pup, undoubtedly my biggest love, but I'm not sure he would really be counted as my first. Did I love the others? Or were there merely great affections for Dias, and Adrian (the middle school crush), that were almost love but not quite? Considering I think I tend to crush too easily and fall too hard, it's really hard for me to know who my first love was.
And that's about all I have to say for that.

My mother is an artist. She draws landscapes with great detail, something I've always envied of her. In the past she used to paint them as well, for fun, and we still have one or two around here. These days she's a crafter, and is always making neat little things, like flowers out of ribbons. I aspire to be able to cook like her someday, especially since she's the best comfort food cook I've ever come across.
She's the one I cite most of my personality as coming from. Like her I tend to have fleeting passionate hobbies, and will never focus on anything for too long. We're both hoarders to one degree or another, and I've got the same sort of temper she does. My art also comes from her, although obviously in completely different directions.
My father is a retired locksmith. He's a tinker, and someone who likes to think things through. He has a home solution for nearly everything, and believes in the credo that if it can be fixed it doesn't have to be thrown out, and that everything can be fixed.
From him I got my love of fishing and of camping. I also got my fix-it tendencies from him. Starting when I was very small he instilled in me the same values of repairing things, and I grew up with the sound of hammers pounding nails into wood.

Okay um. Today hasn't been very nutritional, but oh well XD So far I've had some leftovers from last night: a piece of fried chicken, about four hushpuppies, and a baked potato. After that I had two donuts, one a cakey sort with strawberry icing, and another one that was powdered with chocolate filling.
Yeah, I told you it wasn't very nutritional. XDXD Since I had a big lunch that means I'll eat only a little dinner, so it probably evens out in the end anyway.

I'm not sure I can put much "great detail" into this, if only because I think my definition of love is pretty simple. Love is when you are willing to give everything of yourself to make another person happy, regardless of what it takes. Because when you can make them smile, that makes it all worth it.

So far I haven't accomplished much, really. I got up a little before noon, then dozed out on the couch for about half an hour >_>; After that I helped take care of the satellite bill, and then booted up KH2. Finished Space Paranoids (first go-around), and got utterly slaughtered by Demyx (DAMN YOU AND YOUR DANCE WATER, DANCE. DAMN YOU TO HELL). Turned it off and came online to find a Vent (from Megaman ZX) posting at dear_mun. Squeed. Noticed the Giro on that post is using a lot of my icons. Squeed again, because I love that mun. Decided to make a post of my own with Giro after this, on a different subject. Oh, and I read a library book some more. Probably going to go grocery shopping later.

What else? Sailor Moon. Like a lot of other people it was my first, and I admit to still loving it somewhere inside. It inflamed the young-me's mind, gave me something else to laugh about, something else to cry about, and something to believe in. I met some of my closest friends through Sailor Moon, even though at the same time I met He Who Must Not Be Named through it, too. But in the end I do still love it, and have an odd special fondness for the dub, despite the terribleness I know now that it possessed.
Oh, and Sailor Moon totally made me want a white cat with blue eyes, even if IRL I know he'd most likely be deaf XD But if I did have one someday, you can bet I'd name him Artemis.
