Yes, that title is an in-joke and no, you'll never get it XD

Anyway, these past few days was my boyfriend/deep love,

baka_koinu's visit. And gods, we had a lot of fun. For those slightly interested, a recap of the visit is past the cut. For those not interested... my usual random ramblings are beyond XD ^^

Thursday
Thursday found me at RDU airport at 9:30 in the morning, waiting around anxiously for Pup's flight. I think I remained sitting for all of 10 minutes total during my hour(ish) there, too anxious to really stay in one spot for long XD; I kept checking the Arrival/Departure screens, and I know I got antsy when the status of his flight read "In Range" (meaning 20 minutes or less from landing). At one point, checking the screens again (for the 5th time that quarter of an hour in time) I was there to see "In Range" switch to "Arrived" and I literally ran for the gate. I watched nervously, and I remember my mind was spazzing: "Is that him? No. Is that him? No. Is that him? NO CB, that one was a woman." Then I saw him, and the butterflies in my stomach all exploded into fireworks. We hugged for about a minute or so, then headed to baggage claim and waited around for about seven minutes until his bag came by. We left the airport soon afterwards.

After dropping by a place my dad wanted to go by, we went out to eat at a little pizza joint. And we, quite frankly, gorged ourselves (or at least, I did XD; ). Pup and I went by the Gamestop nearby afterwards, where he bought BN6 Falzer version. We met up with my dad again, and we headed home.

At the apartment, we lounged around on the couch. I showed Pup a couple things in my own copy of BN6, then he started playing his and I reset mine (which, frankly, was okay since I couldn't do anything anymore anyway XD ). We watched a little anime, laid against each other, and just enjoyed each other's company. Later, we played cards on my bed for a while, until it was time to go to sleep. Which we did, curled around each other on my bed.

Friday
We went out to Duke Gardens today, a botanical gardens on Duke property (duh). We went last time, and Pup really enjoyed it (there ain't that kinda color where he's at) so we decided to go again. We took a full roll of pictures of the place... and then ran into wildlife. Figures XD We saw some ducks and one goose, and then a rabbit that we got six feet from before a passing person scared it off. Pup's going to scan a few of the photos, so you guys get to see a few of the sights of the gardens, aside from what I linked above. It's a really beautiful place (even if the humidity made it hard to go everywhere we wanted) and we'll probably go the next time he visits ^^

Afterwards, yet again we hung out around the apartment. At one point we talked to Rush-twin, which was an awesome treat ^^ We did a little Netbattling in 6 (in which he completely and utterly kicked my ass), then watched Whisper of the Heart (which is an awesome movie). We went through our drawings a couple times, did a couple sketches, then slept. Yay, sleep.

Saturday
After the strength-zapping humidity experienced at the gardens, we declared Saturday our rest day. We managed to complete BN6 that day (both of us) and watched the endings go off in near synchrosity XD Afterwards, we watched about 4 episodes in a row of Axess (what can I say, the games put us in a big EXE mood) at the same time we worked a little on characters and stuff. We also watched a few episodes of Code Lyoko that day (including Killer Music, which Pup now goofs off with by imitating the spacey grin, whenever possible). Both of us completed a number of drawings, although the cat kept bugging us XD;

Sunday
Sunday was our big tour day. We went out at around 9 in the morning, grabbed a breakfast at an IHOP (simply because we wanted to and had never been) and then went around the city. During the drive, we took about 54 pictures, all of the places around the city: The gothic buildings on Duke campus; the Civil War-era Bennett Place; a few picturesque locations that are scarce/non-existant in California (such as a large, tree-lined lake); and a few interesting structures we passed, such as a round house, just to name a few. Again, some of these pictures will be scanned once they're developed. We came back home around 5 that evening, and promptly flopped on the couch XDXD

Monday
Not much to report for this day. Pup's flight left early in the afternoon, so after we woke up, I helped him pack the rest of his things. We then sat down on the couch with his laptop, and he showed me a few videos and other things he had saved on there. When it was time to go to the airport, we slowly trumped out towards the car and got in the back, and headed off to RDU. There was a little confusion over what airline his flight was with, but we got it sorted out and I walked him to the security checkpoint, as far as I could go. We shared a long hug, and a kiss, and he departed.

It was a pretty fun visit, and very enjoyable, but over too quickly. Hopefully one of us will be able to see the other again pretty soon...

Aside from that, we got the air conditioner figured out and fixed. Turns out that there were no drain holes inside, so we made some. Works perfectly now.

Also, I've borrowed Pup's copy of Megaman Battlechip Challenge and, in a nod to an in-joke between me, him, and Rush-twin, I'm following Chaud's storyline. I'm only up to the D Class right now, though XD;

Anyway, that's about it I guess. One of the pictures we took this weekend, I'm going to use in an icon (it's of some beautiful flowers and it came out really nicely) so that should be done soon. And I've still got a few drawings to take care of and/or scan, excluding the already-taken-care-of minor flood to DA earlier XD; So yeah, that's about it ^^; /o/~
