Just as an update, my dad came home a few days ago. He's fine, but can't really get around much due to the injury in his knee. Between helping to take care of him, some trying shifts at work, and just general wear and tear I feel like I've been walking for miles and miles, and only get a quick breather between in town before walking on. Miles to Go Before I Sleep and all that, I guess.

Either way, not looking forward to the shift today, though I'm glad I had the foresight yesterday to stock up on energy shot drinks (re: 4 hours of sleep). Looking forward to day off tomorrow though, and Kung Fu Panda 2 on Wednesday. With a friend no less, at this combination theater/restaurant that sounds really awesome. Definitely can't wait.

On the RP side, been having some cool threads lately, with Bass (one at dear_mun and another at ink_city). Also bought him a paid and 15 new icons, 13 of which are technically kudos to

rockman_dot_exe and a download of the Forte/Serenade manga chapter therein. Man I wish that was in English, although at least REO had a summary. Still have to finish Izzy apps to two games though, buh.

Um. Yeah, that's about it. Just killing time right now until I have to leave for work at 9:15. Hopefully I'll actually be on AIM tonight, in case any of the people I've been missing sees this entry before then.

The Saga of the Mildewy Smell continues. What's this, you ask? Well a few nights ago, the windows of the car got left down, and it rained. Hard. ~~Summer rains, you can never predict them.~~ The car then got baked in the sunlight when day broke, because well it's July and it's the south. This of course led to a mildew odor inside the car. No big deal, right? Febreeze the hell out of it, leave the windows down to air, done. NOT SO FAST, I say. With it apparently being the effin' rainy season, it seems like everytime we leave the windows down it just pours again.

And, of course, now that the windows have been rolled back up today, it's starting to look LESS like rain. Sigh.

howprodigious. So here's the customary dear_mun link for people to go bug Izzy if they want. Now, maybe one of these days I can get back active at BOTH my games (four at DDD soon to be two, and one at Ink City that hardly says anything anymore :< ).

Also, Achaea continues to be addicting as all hell.
