Well, it's been a while since I updated, so here I am! ^^; The OOO background has been changed some, as well as link color (you may have to highlight those, at least...) Don't worry, my next LJ look will be a bit better...Whenever I feel like getting rid of Odd anyway xD (Hey, he may only be my third fav character, but he makes a good background ^^)
I went to the doctor's office the other day, and had some blood drawn for tests at the end of it. The bruise has yet to go away, and in fact it's a bit bigger ^^; Maybe because I sleep on that arm... And what I can't get out of my head is the fact my blood bubbled into the vials. Not slid, not slimed, but actually BUBBLED. Like red water, it was. I mean, I knew my blood was thin, but DAMN! XD At the end of the visit I got put on the allergy medicine Zyrtec. Go me xD;
Well, I've got bad news, and good news. Bad news, we practically lost the house. Good news, my father's friend decided to buy it, so we could continue living here until we move. But he wants rent, and unless I find a job (since my father can't work) we can't pay it x_X; At least he doesn't want it yet... At some point my (*insert random curse word here*) brother should be bringing by some money for some stuff he bought from us. He was supposed to bring it a couple days ago, but I wouldn't put it past him to wait until next MONTH to decide to swing by. *heavy sigh, as she shakes her head* And I've had absolutely NO luck in the job-search. *shrug* C'est la vie......
I've been rereading "Blood Trail" lately ^^; I just finished the last book in Tanya Huff's "Blood" series (Blood Debt), and Trail is the second one. I'm rereading it because it's handy--my favorite one is Debt, but I just read it and I don't want to read it again so soon. After I'm done with Trail, I'll probably read more in the Arabian Nights, or move on to Hurcheston's A Wolf's Tale. Or Terry Goodkind's "Temple Of the Winds", I haven't decided...
Unrelated Comment Of the Day: I feel old x____X;;;
I've been mucho busy in fanfics lately. *starts counting on her fingers* I've got NeoWorld to continue (NW being a fanfic at my messageboard *points to her site link*), Unity (semi-private series) needs some lovin', and so do Nightmare Chronicles and the still unnamed Code Lyoko series (N.Chron is at FF.net; the CL series will be there too....someday). Plus there's a Case Closed fanfic, The Ski Resort Murder Case, I've been slowly pecking at... Not to mention Smoke Rings, a darker venture into my one-shot CL fanfics, which've been propagating like HELL lately. And a couple random, unfinished Neopets ones....
And it's not just fics, but fanart too! I've got 4 trades I've been having problems with, and a 5th waiting in the wings. Pics for Unity and Ski Resort have to be done at some point, plus ones for practically all of my CL one-shots. And I still need to do some site-related things...
And find a job, but with all the snow and ice on the roads, my father can't get out of the house (because he needs to walk with crutches), much less drive. Anyone want to room with me? ^-^;;; I'll keep the rent low......
