I hate the DMV. I really hate the DMV. I spent 2 1/2 hours there earlier today, just to take 10 minutes to change the address on my ID. Not to mention that my back hurts because I was standing so much x_X; Ah well, I'm just glad I got it over and done with (also got voter registration out of the way, and the little organ donor heart-thingie put on it) and got my new address put on it. Now hopefully I won't have to go there again for a while, even though I know that's not possible x_X; (Still have to get my driver's license SOMEtime.)


Aside from that, our air conditioner keeps dripping water, causing us to put it on fan sometimes to dry it out. If anyone's ever had an AC with the same problem, I'm open to suggestions.


But this entry isn't all complaining, oh no. *snickers and smiles* ^^ This will probably be my last entry for the next few days, for the duration of Pup's visit. You guys can last, right? ;P I'll probably give a brief overview of the visit with my next entry. Anyway yeah, PUP IS VISITING AGAIN, YAAAAAAAYYYYY /o/~~

-The new DA is kinda weird looking oO; I like it, though.
-My cat just tried to lick where the water's dripping from the AC ><; (And yes, she does have water of her own. She's just lazy)
-I ascended the other day in KoL, for the first time. Yay? XD; ^^
-I have a mike, but I don't really use it anymore *blinks*

I don't get it. What is this ID you're talking about and what does the DMV have to do with it if it's not a driver's licence?

Maybe something's blocking the drain in the AC? As far as I know, most ACs cause condensation.

I agree completely with your assessment of the new look at dA.

And I am certain that today is a far better day than the day you heard he was coming to visit... ;P

'Round here, we have to get State IDs at the DMV as well. They're identification aside from a Driver's license, although you don't have to have both. I have one because I'm a non-driver right now.

And we've checked the drain, but it still leaks x_X It might just be because humidity has been really high lately...

Here in Jamaica, we have national ID cards that are issued by the Electoral Office. I have never used mine because I have had a Jamaican passport since I was sixteen. (I needed one for identification when I took the SAT exams. For some reason, there was, and might still be, an examination centre for the US SAT exams in Kingston, and I took the English and Math exams.)

Actually, our driver's licences are processed and issued at the offices of the Inland Revenue Dept. upon presentation of the receipt for payment of the required fee and either the previous driver's licence (renewal) or documents from the examination depot of the Island Traffic Authority in the parish certifying that one has passed the driver's examination (first licence).

I guess anything would function improperly given extreme situations. *shrug*

Hmmm...my air conditioner leaks, but I'm not sure if it does what yours doing. Anyway though, the way I stop mine from leaking is by making sure it's leaning enough out the window so that the water drains outside into a bucket placed below, as opposed to onto the floor. ^^ I hope that can help in some way...I wish I could be of more help there. ^^;
